THE MAGICAL WORLD OF MARIN MONTAGUT
Every now and then I come across an account on Instagram that leaves me mesmerised. This was the case when I stumbled upon the account of Marin Montagut, a French illustrator and designer with his own homewares boutique in Paris.
I got lost in Marin’s magical world for quite some time, devouring every image, each one better than the last when I realised that he recently published his first book - Timeless Paris - I knew I had to buy it as soon as possible.

Marin Montagut grew up in Toulouse, and thanks to his antique-dealer parents, and his grandmother, an accomplished artist, Marin developed an appreciation for beautiful things.
His childhood ambition was to live in Paris, and so a few days after his 19th Birthday, Marin arrived in the city of lights to pursue his dreams.
Paris filled Marin with inspiration, from the majesty of the Eiffel Tower , to the simple elegance of the green metal chairs in the Luxembourg Gardens.

Inspired by these poignant discoveries, Marin decided to create a book to share and celebrate these special places of inspiration. Captured in photographs and illustrated by his watercolours, this is truly a very special book - perhaps the most beautiful book I’ve ever seen.
